Some of today's coolest upcoming gadgets

Everyday people can have some of the best ideas for really clever and useful gadgets. That is why the development of crowdfunding platforms has really transformed how new gadgets make it to the production and retail phases of development. Today I wanted to take a look at three of the coolest and most useful gadgets that can be found on these crowdfunding sites. I included the links to their crowdfunding pages so be sure to check them out!

Renewcable - This is a really clever way of not needing to replace old and broken charging cables. What the makers of Renewcable have done is designed a snap on connector that latches onto the end of a special wire they designed. What this means is that if the wire starts fraying or gets broken by the base of your phone or device like they commonly do, you can unattach the end, trim off the bad section of the wire, and reconnect the end an inch or two lower and preserve the cord.

Switchbot - This is a cool addition or starter to home automation. The switchbot is a little robot that drives along your curtains to push them open or closed. It is completely programmable so you can configure it to open your curtains when it is time to wake up or close them when you go to bed. Switchbot can also be linked to an AI assistant like an Amazon Echo or a Google Home.

WhiteShark MixPro - This is an underwater scooter that propels you through the water up to 1.8 m/s! It is very compact but still has a battery life up to 1 hour. There is a GoPro mount so you can capture awesome underwater videos too. This looks like a lot of fun to play with, either in the ocean over a reef or even in a backyard pool.
